ΚΑΛΕΣΜΑ | Εκπροσώπηση Συνδέσμου Ψυχολόγων Κύπρου στην Ευρωπαϊκή Επιτροπή του EuroPsy

ΑΦΟΡΑ ΜΟΝΟ ΜΕΛΗ ΣΥΝΔΕΣΜΟΥ ΨΥΧΟΛΟΓΩΝ ΚΥΠΡΟΥ

Ο Σύνδεσμος Ψυχολόγων Κύπρου (ΣΨΚ) ως μέλος της Ευρωπαικής Ομοσπονδίας Εθνικών ενώσεων Ψυχολόγων (EFPA) λαμβάνει μέρος σε Επιτροπές και Συμβούλια της EFPA, προωθώντας την ευρωπαϊκή συνεργασία σε ένα ευρύ φάσμα τομέων της ακαδημαϊκής εκπαίδευσης, της πρακτικής ψυχολογίας και της έρευνας.

Ο ΣΨΚ έχει καλεστεί να προτείνει άτομα-μέλη του για δυο (2) θέσεις στην Ευρωπαϊκή Επιτροπή του EuroPsy. Οι θέσεις είναι συγκεκριμένα για να φέρουν στην επιτροπή σχετική εμπειρία για Ειδικά κριτήρια και Πιστοποιητικό στην Ψυχοθεραπεία και ειδικά κριτήρια και πιστοποιητικό στην Εργασιακή και Οργανωσιακή ψυχολογία, σύμφωνα με τις αλλαγές στη δομή του EuroPsy που αναμένεται να τεθούν σε ισχύ από την 1η Ιουλίου 2025.

Background
The European EuroPsy Committee is responsible for oversight of the EuroPsy and Specialist EuroPsy and its Regulations and for ensuring that the National EuroPsy Committees award the EuroPsy and EuroPsy Specialist Certificates in accordance with these Regulations (Article 15).
 
The European EuroPsy Committee consists of a Chair, and up to twelve (12) other committee members. They are appointed by the Board of Directors. They shall each be from a different country within EFPA and represent a range of the main fields of practice of psychology and specialisations in those fields, the balance to be determined by the EFPA Board of Directors when making appointments. They should provide a balance between those working as practitioners and those working at universities and involved in the education of psychologists (Article 14).
 
According to Article 14c of the EuroPsy Regulations, committee members of the EEC are nominated by the Full Members, and appointed for a term of up to four (4) years, once renewable, by the Board of Directors.
 
Vacancies:
– one member with relevant experience for the Specialist Standard and Certificate in Psychotherapy, and 
– one member with relevant experience for the Specialist Standard and Certificate in Work and Organisational Psychology.

Responsibilities:
The specific responsibilities of the European EuroPsy Committee are laid down in Article 15 of the EuroPsy Regulations. The tasks, among others, include keeping the Regulations under review, receiving and evaluating applications to establish National EuroPsy Committees (NECs), providing guidance to NECs and ensuring their work is in accordance with the Regulations.  
 
Commitment:
A commitment of at least 2-3 hours per week is expected, in addition to preparation for and attendance at meetings. Committee members are expected to be available to respond to communications within 48 hours and sooner for matters flagged as urgent.
 
The EEC currently meets at least five times a year, usually twice a year in person in Brussels and three times a year online. In person meetings are generally over 2-3 days; the online meetings generally last 3-4 hours. Travel and accommodation costs for EuroPsy meetings are reimbursed by EFPA in accordance with the expenses control policy “Rules concerning the reimbursement of travel and subsistence expenses to EFPA Board of Directors, Executive Director, staff, volunteers and other persons travelling at the charge of EFPA’s budget”.
